3: Regular maintenance should be carried out on the equipment to ensure optimal operation every day. 2: Feeder

However, due to the high-speed tapping of the feeding mechanism on the feeder, after prolonged use, the gears of the feeder are severely worn, causing the gears to be unable to drive the plastic strip to peel off normally from the reel, making it impossible for the suction nozzle to complete the picking work. Therefore, before installing the tape, the feeder should be carefully inspected. The feeder with worn gears should be repaired, and those that cannot be repaired should be replaced in a timely manner.


2: Deformation of feeder structural components

Due to long-term use or improper operation by operators, the pressure belt cover plate, spring, and other moving mechanisms may deform, rust, etc., resulting in device suction deviation, standing pieces, or inability to suction the device. Therefore, regular inspections should be carried out, and problems should be dealt with in a timely manner to avoid significant waste of the device. At the same time, when installing the feeder, it should be correctly and firmly installed on the feeding platform, otherwise it may cause damage to the feeder or equipment.


3: Poor lubrication of the feeder

The maintenance and upkeep of feeders are often overlooked, but regular cleaning, washing, oiling, and lubrication are essential tasks.

3、 The impact of suction nozzle

The suction nozzle is another important factor affecting the installation rate, which can be caused by both internal and external factors.


1: Internal reasons

On the one hand, there is insufficient vacuum negative pressure. Before the suction nozzle picks up the parts, the mechanical valve on the mounting head automatically switches from blowing air to vacuum adsorption, generating a certain negative pressure. When the negative pressure sensor detects a value within a certain range after sucking up the parts, the machine is normal. Otherwise, suction is poor. Therefore, the filter inside the vacuum pump should be cleaned regularly to ensure sufficient negative pressure; At the same time, the working status of the negative pressure detection sensor should be checked regularly. On the other hand, the filter on the mounting head and the filter on the suction nozzle turn black due to contamination and blockage caused by the surrounding environment or impure gas source. Therefore, the filter should be replaced regularly, and the filter on the mounting head should be replaced at least once every six months to ensure smooth airflow.


2: External reasons

On the one hand, there is pressure relief in the gas source circuit, such as aging and cracking of rubber air pipes, aging and wear of seals, and wear of suction nozzles after long-term use. On the other hand, there is dust in the external environment, especially the large amount of waste generated after cutting off components packaged in paper, which causes nozzle blockage. Therefore, daily inspection of the cleanliness of the suction nozzle is necessary to monitor and control the pick-up situation of the nozzle at any time. Suction nozzles that are blocked or have poor pick-up should be cleaned or replaced in a timely manner to ensure good condition. At the same time, when installing the suction nozzle, it is necessary to ensure correct and firm installation, otherwise it may cause damage to the suction nozzle or equipment.
